It was approved by majority vote at the June meeting to have a black cartridge shoot added to the monthly shoot. It will be shot at the same time as pistol for those interested. Please see Otis for guns allowed and rules as well as targets to be shot.
Also in June we had two New Members voted into the club.
We'd like to say Welcome to David Watson long time shooter and past member of BrushyCreek and his son Levin Watson who has been coming to BrushyCreek with his family since he was a little boy.
The next monthly Meeting and Shoot will be held Sunday Aug 24, 2008. We will continue with the coldcut lunches due to the hot weather. Please bring your lunch meat and a side dish to the cook shed by 11:30 am so that we can prepare for lunch at 12noon.
We need for all members joining us for lunch to be sure to bring something other than your lunch meat for the lunch table so that we have enough for everyone. It can be pickles, chips, cookies, a cold salad picked up in the deli. You don't have to go to a lot of trouble but, you do need to bring something. We often have quest come for the first time that don't know about the lunch so we want to make sure we always have plenty so that we feel free to ask them to join us. If you follow the rule of enough for you and your family plus 1 we will always have enough. Also if you are bringing a friend then you should make sure you bring enough for that person as well.

Monthly Meeting information: Held the fourth Sunday of each month with the exception of December. Dates for December 2008 meeting and shoot will be announced later in the year
For the Monthly meetings if your joining us for lunch please have your meat and side dish at the cook shed by 11:00am in order to get the meat cooked and have lunch by noon. ******Please note that starting in June we will start our cold cut lunches for the summer months so bring your cold cuts and side dish to the cook shed by 11:30 am so that we can setup and eat by 12noon.******

At the April meeting we ask for nominations for officers. There was a motion made that the same officers continue their duties for the 2008 -2009 year. The officers were ask if they would continue on. They all replied with yes. The motion got a second and a third. 2008 - 2009 officers are as follows:
